Marius Moursund Gisvold
In the period 1983-2019, Gisvold worked in Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma AS, from 1990 as a partner. He is an “allrounder” who started writing the book “Contracts in the petroleum business” (awarded H.M. the Kings Gold Medal for outstanding research), thereafter practicing within the areas of maritime law and marine insurance handling several major casualty matters in the 1980’s and 90’s. From 1990 he was at the heart of the establishment of the Norwegian securities derivatives market and has since worked extensively with securities and exchange-related law, in relation to mergers and acquisitions in several areas of business.
Gisvold was for many years a external examiner at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo in the fields of mortgages, liens and security, insolvency and ownership and transfer of property, and has worked with many refinancings and restructurings as well as liquidations, with the emphasis on quick actions to save values. He also has extensive experience in negotiating complex business agreements in an international environment and speaks several languages.
In the last decades, Gisvold has also assisted several colleagues in connection with partnership agreements and partnership exits.
Gisvold served at the Rotterdam Office of Wikborg Rein in 1986-87 and the London Office (which he founded) in 1987-1990. Gisvold was a member of the board of directors of Wikborg Rein from 1990-95 and the firm’s managing partner from 1995-97.
Gisvold served as an Appeal Court Justice in Hålogaland Court of Appeal in 1990 and in Borgarting Court of Appeal 2000-2001. He has served as an arbitrator in several diverse matters.

Katriina Kekkonen
Katriina Kekkonen has more than twenty years’ experience from premier Norwegian law firms, including Wiersholm and Selmer before serving the last ten years as senior inhouse counsel at Nord Pool, the leading European power exchange. At Nord Pool Katriina was responsible, among other things, for the co-operation agreements with the European transmission system operators and power exchanges regarding the single European power market. Katriina has also worked for the Finnish Law firm Hannes Snellman in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Scandinavian Bank Group in London and Sparebanken NOR in Norway.
Katriina holds a master’s degree from Helsinki University and London School of Economics and Political Science and is a member of the Norwegian Bar.
She is fluent in Norwegian, Finnish and English.
